    Summary:

    Working under general supervision of the CEO, plan, organize and direct a comprehensive fundraising program, and an organizational communications plan, that result in stronger internal and external community relations and sustainable private revenue generation.

    Manage a team to meet departmental goals.

    Perform a variety of complex, responsible, and confidential duties requiring knowledge of fund development, communications and marketing strategy, and organizational procedures and precedents.


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    DevelopmentDevelop relationships with supporters and strengthen their connection to The Price CenterBuild and sustain a long-term development plan that includes annual giving, major gifts, foundation and corporate support and events to increase philanthropic revenue for the organization, achieving revenue goals.

    Foster an understanding of philanthropy within the organization.

    Proactively identify and seek new funding sourcesMaintain relationships with current and past donors by determining appropriate roles for staff, Board, and Development Committee members to play in cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors and prospects; coordinate and support staff and Board members in executing donor-specific strategies as needed.

    Work with department staff, Board, and other volunteers to implement annual development plans and build necessary infrastructurePrepare and submit grant applications as outlined in the fund development plan to generate funds for the organization.

    Communications In collaboration with organizational leadership, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive communication plan to build internal community with employees, families, and individuals; and to develop connections of The Price Center with the external communityDirect The Price Centers internal and external communications activities and marketing strategies.

    Lead the generation of online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action. Decide who, where, and when to disseminate. This includes print and electronic content such as newsletters, brochures, and website.

    Coordinate and organize meetings and events that engage our communityManage all media contactsSupport program participants right to express their religious affiliations and cultural traditions through preferred and relevant activities.

    Support diversity of individuals served through respect of religious preferences and/or cultural backgrounds.


    Qualifications:

    5-10 years of experience in a communications or fund development roleMust fully embrace the mission of The Price CenterExperience in the planning and successful implementation of a multi-faceted fund development program with working knowledge of annual and online giving, major donor giving, event management, foundation, and corporate giving.

    Experience developing, implementing, and budgeting communications strategiesHighly collaborative style and significant track record of success in building relationships.
    Be a self-starter and goal driven.
    Strong strategic ability coupled with the project management skills and results-orientation needed to execute independently and achieve results.
    Outstanding interpersonal, communication and storytelling skills, written and oral.
    Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize multiple assignments, delegate effectively, and deliver quality results on time.
    Experience managing a team and developing employees to reach their full potential.
