    The Solar Sales Manager at Team Sunshine takes charge of leading and inspiring a team of Field Sales Consultants. This role carries the responsibility of ensuring the team's collective performance aligns with monthly and annual targets.

    Responsibilities

    • Help ensure that Field Sales Consultants effectively track and convert leads into opportunities and sales.
    • Guarantees that Field Sales Consultants receive comprehensive training, motivation, and empowerment to meet sales standards, encompassing self-generation sales, referral sales, and company opportunity sales.
    • Upholds professionalism and proper etiquette among Field Sales Consultants throughout all communication channels.
    • Provides support to Field Sales Consultants in closing business at customer sites when necessary.
    • Manages and monitors the teams sales progress from the sales pipeline to installation, utilizing reports and regular meetings.
    • Shares co-accountability with Pipeline and Operation Managers for the overall profitability of branch activities.
    • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of solar market conditions, rebate and tax incentives, and electric utility rate schedules.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2 years of management-level direct sales experience in a growth technology, construction, or solar industry.
    • Strong working knowledge of the residential solar market and sales best practices.
    • Valid and clean driver's license and the ability to pass a driving background check. Must be 21 years of age.
    • Proven leadership abilities, including advanced communication, relationship building, training and development, and performance management skills.
    • Ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a team to move opportunities through the entire sales process and to close sales.
    • Proven ability to transfer sales skills and knowledge to sales professionals under their direct management.

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to drive to travel to and from customer locations.
    • Ability to get into and out of a vehicle multiple times per day.
    • May stand for an extended period while consulting with customers.
