    Luke's Health System in Meridian, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview St. Luke's Health System in Meridian is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cancer Institute/Clinical Oncology team. Sign-on bonus & relocation assistance eligible for new hires Position Summary St. Luke's Cancer Institute is seeking an Oncology Clinic Triage RN to join the team. The Triage RN is a unique position and plays a significant role in supporting the entire clinic. Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills will be required to evaluate patients of all ages receiving treatment.

    The RN is the keystone to the complex, high quality, compassionate care that Idaho has come to expect of our organization.

    Promoting a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness while integrating technical skills, scientific knowledge, and a caring attitude both in the clinic and through the triage process to aid those living with cancer and their families will be essential.

    This position is part-time, 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period). Currently, the clinic is not open nights or weekends.     Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.

    + Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation + Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments + Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework + Performs therapeutic nursing interventions + Manages care of patients + Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities + Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery + Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications + Education: Nursing Degree + Experience: One (1) + years' RN experience + Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice + Preferred: Oncology experience, OCN certified, or triage experience Why St.
