Job summary
The University of Kentucky's College of Social Work invites applicants for 9-month tenure-eligible Assistant Professor positions to begin as early as January 2025 or August 2025.Candidates with research/teaching interests and expertise in areas such as clinical practice, behavioral health, substance use disorder(s), child welfare, interpersonal violence, health disparities, community engagement, and/or differential system impacts among underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. The university offers comprehensive benefits.
Applicants must have an MSW (or equivalent) and PhD in Social Work or a related field (ABD will be considered). They should demonstrate strong potential for producing high-quality scholarship and securing external funding. Additionally, they should be able to foster positive professional relationships with local agencies/organizations/associations.
