    Job Duties


    Commonwealth ChalleNGe Youth Academy's purpose is to intervene in the lives of 16-18 year old teenagers by providing the values, skills, education, and self-discipline needed to produce responsible, productive, citizens, and to do so in a highly structured learning environment.

    The incumbent of this position would assist in food preparation and serving students to ensure appropriate sanitation, food handling and safety requirements are met.

    This position requires evening and weekend flexibility as this is a residential program and students are on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Knowledge of food preparation
    • Experience in serving, chilling, and producing breakfast, lunch, dinner with snacks.
    • Experience in cooking from scratch, temperature experience, measurements and health codes.
    • Ability to operate kitchen equipment.
    • Knowledge of proper sanitation methods.
    • Health Card required
