- Provide leadership and supervision to special education staff.
- Conduct evaluations and professional development activities.
- Promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Student Evaluation and Progress Monitoring:
- Oversee student assessment and progress monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper evaluations and placements.
- Use data for decision-making and program enhancement.
- Family and Community Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between the district and families of students with disabilities.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with families and community partners.
- Enhance support services for students with special needs.
- Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and manage budget effectively.
- MTSS:
- Lead the development and implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports.
- Collaborate with school teams for data-driven interventions.
- Provide professional development on evidence-based practices.
- Idaho State teacher's and Administrator's certificate required.
- Experience with effective classroom instruction for students with disabilities.
- Experience in providing professional development.
