    Description

    Eastman Kodak Company cares about the health and wellbeing of its employees and we are looking for an Occupational Health Lead/RN to pilot the clinical piece of our newly restructured occupational health program here in Rochester, NY.

    The Occupational Health Lead/RN will be responsible for direct oversight of clinical health operations and compliance for U.S. employees.


    Responsibilities:

    • Assist nurse case manager with telephonic nurse case management of medical absences.
    • Oversight of clinical services performed by third party vendor to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Kodak policies and procedures.
    • Ongoing communication and collaboration with third party vendor to ensure employees are receiving excellent care and customer services goals are being met.
    • Notification to third party vendor of immediate service needs which include, but are not limited to, work-related injury evaluation and drug/alcohol testing.
    • Coordination and oversight of Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) program and AED inspection and inventory.
    • Serve as a member of Kodak's global Ergonomic Task Force
    • Work in close proximity with Nurse Case Manager and Occupational Health Assistant to ensure that requirements are being met in alignment with Kodak's values and in the best interests of its employees.
    • Participation in webinars, seminars, etc. to keep abreast of new OSHA regulations and other state or federal laws impacting Kodak's occupational health program.
    • Evaluation of job functions to assess ergonomic improvements and preventative programs.
    • Management of the bloodborne pathogen program and employee compliance.
    • Oversight of medical waste management program.
    • Facilitation of Challenging Case meetings which are conducted with the occupational health and HR teams to discuss complicated cases and ensure alignment when developing a resolution plan.
    • Testimony in the event of legal proceedings arising from an employee absence or injury, as needed.
    • Participation in Morning Market calls pertaining to workplace injuries, as needed.
    • Oversight of Kodak's nursing mother's program.
    • Review of pre-employment medical history forms and provide clearance, when appropriate.
    • Performance of all job functions in accordance with local, state, and federal laws as well as Kodak's policies. Comply with national case management standards and nursing code of conduct.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in nursing with a Registered Nurse License in NY
    • Five or more years clinical nursing experience
    • Experience in oversight of an occupational health practice or department preferred
    • Two or more years of telephonic nurse case management experience, occupational health case management preferred.
    • Working knowledge of general workers' compensation, disability, FMLA, and ADA laws
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of internal and external clients and conflict resolution.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Time management and multitasking skills to balance oversight of multiple projects and unique situations arising unexpectedly.
    • Fluency in operating Microsoft Office suite programs
    • Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail

    $90,000 - $115,000
