**Description**
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Answers questions regarding food preparation and ingredients.
Greets and seats our Guests in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensures Guests are satisfied and extends a friendly farewell, inviting them to return.
Assists Guests when on a waiting list.
Coordinates the flow of seating throughout the shift.
Maintains and coordinates the waiting list.
Executes Buddys Service from the Heart at all times.
Merchandises and suggestively sells all menu items.
Observes Guests to respond to any additional needs.
Attends pre-shift briefings according to shift schedule.
Keeps Managers informed on any concerns and suggests alternative courses of action.
Maintains cleanliness in all work areas including restrooms and entranceways.
Follows responsible alcohol service procedures.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies.
Maintains a favorable work relationship with all company employees, to promote a harmonious work environment.
Provides a favorable image of Buddys Pizza at all times.
Demonstrates teamwork by assisting other employees with duties as needed or when shifts become busy.
Demonstrates teamwork by running food, cleaning, setting tables, satisfying Guests needs and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant.
Provides directions to and from the store using local roads, highways and landmarks.
Possesses knowledge of other popular destinations in the area.
Applies all of the companys safety and sanitation procedures.
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous restaurant and/or sales experience is preferred. Good communication skills are a plus.
EDUCATION:
High school education is recommended.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to pass host/ess certification.
Neatly dressed and well-groomed in Buddys clean, standard uniform at all times.
Stands/walks during entire shift.
Able to reach, lift and bend.
Deliver food and drink and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 30 lbs.
Able to read menu items to sight-impaired Guests.
Able to hear a Guests request through loud background noise.
Able to verbalize clearly to Guests.
Able to read and write orders.
