    We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead traffic engineering projects and assist with the growth of our practice within the regional market area.

    The successful candidate should have broad experience in the field of traffic engineering with an emphasis on traffic simulation modeling and forecasting for major arterial and interstate corridors.

    The role also involves managing multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    We are open to hiring the right candidate near any of our office locations in Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, or Kentucky.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing firm with an established but expanding Traffic Engineering and Planning practice.

    We work with both public and private sector clients to solve their most complex transportation challenges.

    In this position, the candidate will:

    Generate project proposals and participate in project interviews in coordination with marketing staff and firm senior leadershipDevelop project goals, scopes of work, and budgets to guide project activitiesCoordinate and manage the work of team members involved in the projectProvide quality control and quality assurance on all aspects of the project Produce high-quality deliverables and communicate project findings to clientsCoordinate and collaborate with other senior leaders of the firm on client management and strategic business developmentPursue new business opportunities through relationships, professional organizations, etc.

    Keep abreast of emerging trends in the transportation industry, such as autonomous vehicles, Smart Cities technologies, ridesharing, etc.
    As opportunities present themselves, the candidate may also be involved in other responsibilities and projects.


    Minimum qualification for this role:
    10+ years of relevant traffic engineering experienceBachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar engineering fieldRegistered Professional EngineerExperience with Synchro 10 and traffic signal operations/phasingExperience with traffic simulation modeling software packages such as PTV's VISSIMExperience with innovative intersection and interchange configurationsExperience with the predictive methods of the Highway Safety ManualExperience with traffic forecasting methodsExcellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well individually or as part of a teamAdditional qualifications that would be helpful:Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similarRegistered as a Professional Traffic Operations EngineerPrior project experience with local agencies or state DOTsExperience with travel demand modeling software packages such as Caliper's TransCADExperience or familiarity with AutoCAD, Microstation, ArcGIS, Synchro, VISSIM, Highway Capacity Software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Tableau Experience with urban, multimodal transportation planning and traffic calmingExperience leading teams in a project environmentWhat we offer:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
