    Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Level 3 Plant Manager. This position is responsible for management of the daily operations of the concrete facility and associated staff.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Management of all material inventoriesPossess positive attitude in servicing the local customer baseAccountable for product qualityPerform basic facility maintenanceProvide leadership to 12 or more drivers and other associated staff assigned to the locationMonitor employee processes and behaviors to ensure that safe practices are incorporated in all daily activitiesInspect and make necessary corrections to unsafe conditions that occur at the facilityImplement preventative maintenance actions that promote a safe work environmentReview and assess safety concerns in pre and post trip inspection reportsEnsure compliance with OSHA standards in and around the plant as well as fleet operations are compliant with DOT standardsDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environmentsDemonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to engage with, and positively motivate delivery and plant teams on a daily basis.

    Accurate processing of customer orders, provide appropriate product adviceMaintain collaborative lines of communication with the Area Production Manager to address specified goals with the assigned facilitiesMay be required to engage and lead employees at remote or multiple facilitiesPotential management and maintenance oversight of multiple facilities including inventory and stockpile managementDevelop a strategic approach to daily, weekly and extended term planning in a changing and complex work environment, to include adjustments in the staffing, equipment, inventory volumes and scheduling.

    Responsible for batching ready mix concrete properly, ensure the product is loaded properly.
    RequirementsMinimum of (2) years operation related experience and minimum of (7) year supervisory or management experience preferred.

    Must obtain NRMCA Plant Management Certification as outlined by managementMust obtain ACI Level 2 or equivalent and applicable State/Federal DOT standards as outlined by managementMust have minimum of (3) years as a CPM2Must be OSHA 10 hour certifiedHigh School diploma, or G.E.D is requiredMust be highly proficient in the utilization of the CommandBatch and CommandSeries systems, accurately monitoring information for effective quality control and customer serviceMust possess a thorough understanding of the mechanical operations of the plant facilitiesStrong and effective communicator with ability to support management of implementing and adapting to changeExcellent leadership skills with ability to lead and motivate others.

    Computer skills in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
    Spanish speaking or bilingual a plus
