    Currently ManTech is seeking a Telecom SME IV to join our team in Edwards AFB, CA supporting our growing Defense Sector and Marine Corps programs

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • The Telecom SME specializes in telecommunications technology, systems, and processes
    Provides expertise and guidance on telecom-related matters to support telecom infrastructure and operations.


    • Conducts telecom system design and implementation and manages the telecom infrastructure including PBX (Private Branch Exchange) systems, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) networks, routers, switches, and other telecom equipment.
    • This includes ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security of the telecom infrastructure.
    • Writes telecom policy and strategy development
    Collaborates with telecom service providers and vendors.


    • Provides expert-level support for telecom-related issues.
    • Evaluates emerging telecom technologies, trends, and industry standards to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
    • Assesses the feasibility and impact of adopting new technologies and makes recommendations for their implementation

    Experience:

    • 15 years of position-specific relevant experience.
    • DoD m IAT Level II Certification.
    • Bachelors degree in an IT-related discipline.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in tactical communications systems, sensor applications, telecommunications backhauls, and narrowband/wideband /broadband communications networks and architectures.

    Security Clearance:

    • Active Secret Security Clearance

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
    • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
    • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer The projected compensation range for this position is $107,600-$180,100
    There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories
