    Essential Functions:


    Assist in annual budget process, including but not limited to: Prepare annual budget calendarProvide training and supporting services to all budget usersManage budget timeline to ensure all departments stay on track with the budget calendarPrepare budget financial statements and supporting schedulesWork with each department to update line of business allocation methodology every other year.

    Prepare all journal entries, reconciliations and other requests related to entrance fee accounting, including:

    Update and maintain resident data in FORCAST softwarePrepare monthly amortization and termination income journal entryReconcile entrance fee general ledger accounts to FORCAST reportsIdentify reconciliation discrepancies and propose adjusting journal entriesProvide entrance fee supporting report within 2 business days of receiving refund payment requestsProvide entrance fee related data and explanations for annual audit requests.

    Update demographic and financial data in FORCAST software for annual evaluation of future service obligation and actuarial study.
    Ensure master price list is updated for entrance fee and monthly fee increases and unit mix is kept current.

    Prepare internal/external/regulatory reports and requestsAssist in financial planning and analysis projectsMaintain certain settings in the budget and reporting softwareSkills/Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Accounting requiredCPA preferred3-5 years demonstrated responsibility in the area of Accounting and FinanceThorough knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting techniques and financial reportsComfortable presenting to all levels of leadershipAdvanced Excel skillsIndeedSJLocation: Presbyterian Homes Accounting DepartmentSchedule: Full Time, 1st, 8a-4p#J-18808-Ljbffr
