    Position Overview:

    As a Lead Culinary Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all back-of-house operations and food production. You will lead and inspire your team by providing valuable coaching and feedback, ensuring a high-performing and positive environment focused on food excellence and kitchen organization. Your ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations will be key to your success in this culinary leadership role.

    What we expect of you:

    • Oversee and manage the back-of-house team along with food production operations.
    • Train and develop Sous Chefs and other kitchen staff.
    • Provide clear directions and constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
    • Encourage team members to broaden their culinary skills through cross-training on various kitchen stations.
    • Supervise butchering and portion control across all shifts.
    • Establish expectations for maintaining a high-quality food standard in a clean and organized kitchen environment.
    • Assist in the hiring and training of back-of-house team members to meet staffing objectives.
    • Manage orders for produce, seafood, and other core food items.
    • Conduct bi-weekly inventory counts in collaboration with the team.
    • Foster a cooperative kitchen environment while closely collaborating with management.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant management role.
    • Passionate and dedicated to the culinary industry.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress environments.
    • Self-motivated with a professional appearance.
    • Butchering experience is preferred.
    • Experience in a scratch kitchen is preferred.
