    The Manufacturing Engineer (ME) is a critical member of Creation's Customer Focused Team, responsible for bringing our customer's new product designs into realization.

    The ME will ensure our products always meet customer requirements and specifications, with 'cradle to grave' ownership from prototype stage through to sustaining production.

    As the ME, you will define the assembly process, product flow, materials, methods, and tools necessary to bring new products to the company portfolio.

    Our customers will see you as an extension to their engineering team, as you propose DFx solutions and recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce cost and improve quality.

    In collaboration with the production team, you will work in collaboration to analyze and resolve a variety of technical issues related to supplier quality, SMT or backend mechanical assembly.

    The ME will ensure engineering changes are properly implemented and that configuration management is maintained through the product lifecycle. This position directly reports to the Engineering Leader and indirectly takes daily leadership from their Customer Focused Team Leader.


    DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsible for new product launch activities. Manages and schedules new product launches.
    DFx analysis and reporting, manufacturing process development and development of Assembly Documents for new products.

    Responsible for sustaining engineering activities, including engineering changes and managing the applicable areas of the business systems for configuration managementInterfaces with subject matter experts in Test Engineering and Process engineering for specific test/equipment capabilities development.

    Create, control and distribute engineering change orders and maintain revision controlAnalyze customer documentation such as assembly drawings, CAD, Gerbers, BOMs, etc.

    to ensure that all information is analyzed and absorbed into our internal documents.

    Review PCB board design from customers, optimize the layout and discuss technical details with suppliersSustain engineering activities, including the support of production teams, root cause analysis of manufacturing non-conformances etc.

    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

    Ability to effectively present information to top management, public group, and/or customersQUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent experience in an electronics-related disciplineMinimum 3 years electronics manufacturing background.

    Must have detailed electronic component and PCB knowledgeExperience with Aegis Factory Logix software an asset.
    DFM, PFMEA, Lean/ Six Sigma Fundamentals requiredPLM / ERP experience is highly desired.
    CAM350 experience is highly desired.
    New Product Introduction experience is highly desired.

    Able to manage several projects at once and prioritize one's workloadSKILLS REQUIRED:

    Extended knowledge of industry accepted manufacturing, quality and technical standards (IPC, JIT, Lean etc.)ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 experience preferred.

    AS9100 and /or medical device manufacturing experience is an asset.
    Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical documents including the schematics and prints.

    Ability to interpret engineering tolerancesAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbove average communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to sort, filter, and analyze data in ExcelOrganized and self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-taskComfortable in presenting to and meeting customers in personStrong learning mindsetIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $70, $120,000.00 annually.

    Full-time employees are also eligible for performance based bonuses and benefits.
