Our client, a global Japanese trading company is looking for a Logistics Coordinator in the Houston TX area to join their team

Title: Logistics Coordinator

Industry: Renewables Trading

Type: Full Time Direct Hire Non-Exempt

Location: Houston TX

Salary: 60-76K + 6% bonus

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in domestic, import, and export logistics
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP
• International logistics experience preferred
• Spanish language skills preferred

JOB DUTIES:

• Accurate, and timely communicate through email and/or phone calls to process orders and inquiries
• Organize and coordinate shipments (sea, air, ground transportation)
• Prepare shipping documents for import/export/domestic shipments
• Provides pricing, availability, and schedule information
• Assist additional and/or alternative logistics services to meet customers'
  needs.
