Description:

Pine Island School District is seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the educational experience and well-being of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students referred for assessment and provide interpretation of results.
• Collaborate with school-based teams to develop and implement individualized plans for students with hearing impairments, offering necessary support and consultation.
• Assist in the selection, fitting, and maintenance of hearing aids and other assistive devices while monitoring students' ongoing hearing status and assistive technology needs.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid license or certification in Audiology with expertise in pediatric populations, especially students with hearing impairments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in audiometric assessment techniques and interpretation of results.

Note: This is a part-time position with a 0.1 FTE or approximately 20 days per year. Exact scheduling details will be discussed with the successful candidate.
