Job summary
A postdoctoral position is available to conduct research in the area of quantum materials, in particular of relevance to quantum emitters and nonlinear optical crystals. The position is a part of the NSF IMPAQT Center at FIU, focused on materials for quantum information science.- Conduct experimental work for the development of new quantum materials
- Utilize chemical and physical methods to modify and tune of quantum materials properties
- Synthesize and characterize inorganic materials including halides, oxides, chalcogenides, nanoalloys etc. by a variety of solid-state methods
