Description

Packaging Equipment Operation 100%

• Operation of packaging equipment, including bag feeder, pallet jack and shrink-wrapping machine 60%
• Ensure bags are stacked appropriately on pallets, and are positioned for placement in the warehouse 10%
• Accurate completion of production reports 10%
• Taking pellet samples for quality control testing 5%
• Labeling/tagging wrapped pallets with required quality control information 5%
• Assist with start-up and/or shut-down of packaging equipment as needed 5%
• Additional accountabilities as required 5%

High School diploma or GED required

One to two years production line experience preferred

Must possess good eye, hand and foot coordination

Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day

Requires ability to read and interpret scales

Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Requires the ability to do simple math calculations
