Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through your expertise and attention to detail.

Duties

  • Perform auto body repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and welding.
  • Conduct auto painting tasks to restore vehicles' exterior finishes.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
  • Assess vehicle damage and provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs.
  • Collaborate with team members in a dealership environment to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks as needed.

Experience

  • Proven experience in auto body repair, with a strong understanding of vehicle structures and materials.
  • Familiarity with auto painting techniques and equipment.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.
  • Previous work in a dealership setting is preferred but not required.
  • A background in mechanics or vehicle maintenance is advantageous.
