We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiological/fluoroscopic examinations, operating related equipment and devices, maintaining safe radiation practices, and maintaining related records.

Salary:

$65,000 - 85,000 per year

Job Description:

This is a full-time position working a rotation shift. We offer a competitive salary range based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from a specialty training program and have a minimum of one year of related work experience. Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is also required.

• Perform standardized radiological and fluoroscopic examinations involving proper positioning of patient, techniques, and operation of equipment.
• Verify correct order and patient identification.
• Analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology for standardized examinations.
• Assist physicians with various procedures.
• Utilize digital technology for image production.
• Maintain quality assurance of images sent to picture archiving communication systems.

Requirements:

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program
• Minimum of 1 year-related work experience
• Certification(s) and License(s): Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification - American Heart Association (AHA), Certified Radiology Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a clinical environment, handling non-controlled medications, and following infection-control policies and protocols.
