JOB DESCRIPTION:

To assure the highest quality of all products, finished and raw, through verification of all related documents, records, and procedures. Ensure the company follows or is making attempts to improve its position related to Federal, State, and Local regulations involving the manufacturing of food products for human consumption.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (this list is not exhaustive):

• Dumps ingredients into sauce tanks.
• Prepares recipes by following directions and adding ingredients as required.
• Weighs ingredients accurately.
• Oversee cooking procedure of sauces and temperatures.
• Reads water and salt levels, uses test equipment for salt, Brix, and pH.
• Inspects ingredients for quality standards.
• Responsible for cleaning kettles on sauce changes.

Communications Skills - Good listening skills and habits are essential for this position. Excellent ability to resolve issues and solve problems through personal interaction. Above average verbal and written communication skills essential. Some knowledge of Spanish.

Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze and interpret production data. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, thoroughness, and efficiency.
