    Clinical Solutions Pharmacy is looking for ambitious, impactful, goal-oriented professionals to join our Pharmacy Technician Team A candidate must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to be considered for the position.

    Clinical Solutions Pharmacy is the only 100% female owned and founded closed-door pharmacy in the United States serving the correctional population. Clinical Solutions ships out 30,000 plus prescriptions a day to over 400 correctional facilities in 26 states from our Franklin corporate office. Our Clinical Solutions Pharmacy in Nashville ships out 2,000-3,500 prescriptions a day to all Tennessee State Department of Correction Facilities.

    Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm.

    Position & Pay: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) l $19/hourly.

    Location: The Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) position is located at the Tennessee Department of Corrections Pharmacy, 7575 Cockrill Bend Blvd, Nashville, TN. The Tennessee Department of Corrections Pharmacy is located on the same campus as the DeBerry Special Needs Tennessee Prison Facility, but the pharmacy is in a separate building outside of the prison.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Basic math and analytical skills.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
    • Intermediate typing and keyboarding skills.
    • Pharmacy Technician License in Tennessee.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
    • 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    • Outstanding customer service and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
    • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and detail oriented.
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and roman numeral), brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology.
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process.

    Duties Include:

    • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
    • Calculate and verify the correct dosage based on the prescription order.
    • Comply with all state and federal guidelines regarding medication labeling.
    • Responsible for maintaining Quality Standards to ensure specifications and codes are met.
    • Be flexible to work in any area of the pharmacy as assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge.
    • Be cross trained in all fulfillment departments, including Order Entry, Specials, Fridge, Bulk, Prepack, MTS 350 & 500 Machine Operator, and Shipping.
    • Complete additional special projects and other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge.

    • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, stir, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
    • Must be able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
    • The employee is required to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects.
