Senior Hardware Design Engineer
Hybrid - Fort Meade or Annapolis Junction Top Secret clearance - SCI eligible I am working with a leading cyber security consultancy who are looking to add a Senior hardware design engineer to their client in a hybrid capacity based in either Fort Meade or Annapolis Junction
To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and enhancing new and existing products and processes.
• Analyze designs to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Coordinate with engineering team to ensure project completion.
• Implement designs using ASIC or FPGA tools.
• Document design processes and flows.
• Integrate new tools and libraries into the design environment.
• Collaborate with vendors to address design challenges.
• Perform reverse engineering tasks on electronic components.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers

Qualifications:

• 12 years of experience in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Alternatively, 5 additional years of hardware design engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and assembly language.
• Experience with Verilog or VHDL.
• Familiarity with FPGA design

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of digital EDA tool algorithms.
• Experience with hypervisor/container development and RoT techniques.
• Familiarity with firmwarelevel code and FPGA physical design.
• Understanding of device characterization and ASIC analog/digital design
