Job summary
As a Certified Surgical Assistant at Mayo Clinic, you will assist the surgeon/physician in performing surgical procedures and work in a multi-specialty perioperative setting.The job requires graduation from a Surgical Assistant program or equivalent training, current certification as CSA or CSFA, and relevant operating room experience or training within the past 3 years.
You must have and maintain current certification as CSA with NCCSA or CSFA with NBSTSA and maintain Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from AHA or ARC.
