· CHATHAM

Job Description:

·Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.

·Manages large, full-time, year-round state farmers' market that provides an outlet for the sale of products by farmers, retailers, and wholesalers.

·Provides direction to farmers in the sale of produce to consumers.

Job Summary:

·This position performs duties such as enforcing farmers' market rules and regulations.

·Providing services to farmers, dealers, and the public in the sale of produce

·Accounting for receipts collected.

·Assisting in the maintenance, sanitation, and security at the State Farmers Market

·Inspecting produce entering and sold at the Markets; and other duties as assigned.

·Responsible for compiling reports of monies received.

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

·Experience managing long and short-term projects.

·Experience managing contracts/contractors.

·Experience in property management or landlord/tenant relations.

·Working knowledge of Windows OS as well asMicrosoft Excel, Access, and Word, Strong customer service skills.

·Requires a Valid Georgia Driver's License. Strong Customer Service skills

Physical Demands:

Will require spending time outside in the elements in all seasons. The employee will need to dress for the weather.

High school diploma or GED AND Six years of experience in the area of assignment, Two years of which in a supervisory capacity OR Two years of experience at the lower level Market Ops Spec 3 (RCT062) or position equivalent.
