We are seeking an Autonomy Integration Engineer to join our team.The Autonomy and Vehicle Management System (VMS) Integration Engineer is responsible for integrating autonomy software within aircraft mission system architecture.
This role requires experience in software development embedded systems programming service-based architectures behavioral modeling message schemas state machine logic command telemetry pipelines using defined languages frameworks runtime environments platform correct mapping interface control document ICD vehicle management system VMS control surfaces configuration modes translate autonomy documentation into functional code convert behavior graphs trajectory-planning algorithms state machines developer specifications identify interface gaps close them develop OMS UCI service definitions schemas behaviors implement endpoints publish subscribe mechanisms message catalogs data schemas enforce adherence schema enforcement error handling interface version control create API adapters protocol-translation layers write adapters bridges shims enabling third-party autonomy interoperate mission planning ground stations debrief data pipelines ensure deterministic behavior strict schema consistency across subsystems integrate SITL HITL simulation environments embed executables libraries services simulation adapters wrappers integration code determine reproducible aligned flight dynamics debug autonomy interactions use logs traces real-time telemetry debugging tools diagnose issues corrective changes ensure stable behavior implement ICD conformance checks maintain schema validators API harnesses diff tools automated regression tests validate compliance subsystems ensure backward compatibility stability versions support workflows implement validate pathways carry outputs operator tasking inputs mode selections abide by safety constraints collaborate multidisciplinary teams developers researchers engineers personnel active Secret clearance required Top Secret SCI preferred US EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE STATUS person hired have access information items subject export controls must either US person as defined C.F.R
