- Follow all established policies and procedures
- Prepare purchase orders
- Handle phone sales and parts transactions in person
- Set and oversee reorder levels for inventory and shop supplies
- Retrieve parts for mechanics
- Enter parts into repair orders and perform job costing
- Maintain the cleanliness of the stock room
- Receive and inspect incoming cores, documenting them appropriately
- Responsible for crediting, invoicing cores, and managing core damage
- Ship all parts, transmissions, and cores as necessary
- Print and update Repair Orders and Parts lists
- Invoice and ship orders for parts
- Receive and stock shelves with orders
- Quote prices for parts orders
- Handle receiving and invoicing paperwork
- Provide pickup and delivery services for parts, equipment, transmissions, and vehicles
- Ensure timely follow-up on required parts and materials
- Generate sales orders for completed repairs
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks through multiple carriers
- Perform any other assigned duties
- Quality - Demonstrates precision and thoroughness; Actively seeks opportunities to enhance and champion quality; Incorporates feedback for performance improvements; Monitors own work for quality assurance.
- Safety and Security - Adheres to safety and security protocols; Takes appropriate actions beyond standard procedures; Reports unsafe conditions; Properly utilizes equipment and materials.
- Attendance and Punctuality - Maintains consistent presence and punctuality; Ensures coverage of work responsibilities during absences; Attends meetings and appointments punctually. Flexibility to work evenings and overtime if required.
- Dependability - Follows instructions and managerial directives; Takes ownership of actions; Honors commitments; Completes tasks on schedule or communicates alternate plans.
