    We take care of our people so that you can do your best work. Fund Operations Specialist We are currently seeking a Fund Operations Specialist to join our team.

    This position is responsible for ensuring the recordkeeping system is in balance with the Trustee and assisting in all details surrounding mutual fund operations as they pertain to qualified retirement plans.


    Responsibilities:
    Processes and reconciles the allocation of mutual fund earnings across all plans. Monitors and reconciles all aspects of mutual fund trading including the balancing of all mutual fund share accounts. Prepares the quarterly reconciliation of Trust statements to recordkeeping system activity. Documents outages and provides report for review. Responds to department requests for copies of Trust Statements, Invoices, Checks, etc.

    Prepares the daily reconciliation of all plan trust accounts and provides timely research and resolution for any balance discrepancy between the trust and record keeper.

    Processes and reconciles all dividends paid by the mutual funds. Completes daily preparation and delivery of financial transaction files to trustee(s), under strict deadlines.

    Oversees all banking activity including but not limited to logging incoming wires & ACH's, monitoring the timely posting of received wires to the trust accounts, processing stop payments, and balancing the plan distribution account.

    Handles all aspects of mutual fund account set up for new plans, including but not limited to, opening and documenting account data, system and file updates, and relaying plan fee data to appropriate personnel.

    Assists with the Reconciliation and allocation of mutual fund revenue payments applicable to all plans to ensure all expected revenues are received.

    Reviews the quarterly plan summary statements as prepared by the recordkeeping system. Oversees prospectus delivery and maintains inventory of all electronic and paper versions. Provides back up to team members as needed. Assists in evaluating all mutual fund notices to determine impact. If necessary, notifies department and coordinates the operational details for mutual fund changes with other teams. Assists in obtaining and reporting mutual fund related data (e.g. revenue basis points, expense ratios, redemption fees, performance returns) Assists in the research, resolution, and coordination of operational questions and issues concerning the plan's financial activity from vendors and internal Company areas. Participates in other department projects and cross training within Insperity Retirement Services as knowledge and opportunities allow.


    Qualifications:
    High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Minimum of - 2 years of experience in related field is required. Knowledge and experience with Sungard Omni and SGN products is preferred. Familiar with Microsoft Office Products, specifically Outlook and MS Word. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access. Technical knowledge necessary to prepare financial transaction files (e.g. csv, txt files, etc.) and transmit files (via ftp, web uploads, etc.) to outside vendors. Understanding of qualified plans, including ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and relevant regulations. Knowledge of mutual fund operations and revenue payments. Attention to detail as well as organizational and planning skills. Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to multi-task in a team environment. Ability to meet and adhere to strict daily deadlines.
