DEAN OF STUDENTS

Lacordaire Academy, a Catholic independent PreK to 12 school, is currently seeking a full-time all academy Dean of Students for the school year for our Lower, Middle, and Upper School. The Dean of Students role is a 12 month administrative position.

The role of Dean of Students is to create a school environment in which all students feel connected to and supportive of each other, and to assist them in achieving the fullest benefits from the Academy's programs, services, and offerings. Additionally, the Dean of Students is responsible for overseeing the conduct of students and developing policy and procedures with regard to discipline to ensure a positive, productive, and safe learning environment.

Qualifications:

• State Department of Education Certification (preferred, not required)
• Degree in a related field
• Relevant experience in a school setting
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Passion for working with students of varying age ranges
• Capability and drive to plan, coordinate, and implement school activities and programming
• Strong organizational and communication skills
