    Family Nurse Practitioner

    Cardiology Dept.

    Location: Morganton, NC

    Practice Open: Monday - Friday 7:30am- 4:30pm

Morganton is nature's playground, ideal for camping, hiking, fishing, mountain biking and kayaking. Within one hour of Asheville, Charlotte, Hickory, Blowing Rock and Boone.

    Job Description

    UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for our cardiology department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic and inpatient cardiac patients.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Licensure Requirements
    • Completion of an accredited graduate -level Nurse Practitioner Program.
    • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina or eligible.
    Professional Experience Requirements:
    • At least 2+ years experience as a FNP in a cariology setting
    Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
    • Demonstrated clinical competency.
    • Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients
    • Manages and assists with inpatient cardiac patients and cardiac labs
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
    • Effective interaction and care of patients
    • Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
