- Create electrical drawings for facilities, including lighting systems, power systems, communications, security, and fire detection while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Produce entry-level drawings using computer-aided design software closely supervised by senior Electrical Technicians or Engineers
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing design concepts, producing construction documents, and possess a strong understanding of engineering planning, drafting, and detailing
- Undertake any other necessary duties as assigned
- Completion of an Associate or technical school degree, or a blend of education and relevant practical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, with familiarity in Database/Document Management
- Must embody a proactive attitude and dedication to actively participating in our unique employee-owned culture
- At least 1 year of experience in designing electrical lighting, power, and systems for building projects
- Expertise in Healthcare, Science and Technology, and/or Civic facilities
- Prior work experience in an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm is highly advantageous
- Interest in sustainable design/LEED is a plus
- Familiarity with MicroStation
