    OverviewThis role will be Hybrid (3 days a week) out of our NYC, NY office.

    We have an exciting opportunity at Foot Locker, under the direction of the Chief Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel, the Global Privacy and AI Counsel will serve as trusted counsel to teams across the global enterprise to ensure that products, services, technologies and business applications and processes align with global privacy and AI regulations, the Global Privacy Program and the Ethical Use of Data and Technology Policy.

    ResponsibilitiesMonitor and stay updated on domestic and international privacy and AI laws, regulations and standards, including GDPR, APAC, Canada and US State privacy laws, class actions and enforcement actions and provide advice and counsel to teams across the organization regarding global privacy laws and general regulatory requirements.

    Develop and maintain legal requirements compliance framework document and help teams translate and implement these requirements into actionable controls and business processes.

    Review and advise on privacy and AI-related contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships to safeguard the protection of personal information, privacy rights and compliance.

    Conduct privacy and AI impact assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate privacy and AI risks.
    Develop, maintain and update internal and external privacy and AI policies, manuals, privacy and AI governance procedures and disclosures.
    Assist in the development and delivery of privacy and AI compliance training and communications.

    Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and marketing teams to integrate privacy considerations throughout the development and business process life cycle, helping ensure appropriate implementation of privacy by design.

    Respond to escalated privacy and AI related inquiries, complaints and incidents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    QualificationsJuris Doctor degree and active bar membership.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on privacy and technology.
    Deep understanding of global privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA and other state privacy laws.
    Proven track record of developing and implementing privacy policies and guidelines in a multi-jurisdictional environment.

    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate stakeholders on privacy matters and provide clear guidance.#LI-TP1#LI-HybridBenefitsThe annual base salary range is $ $200000 / year.

    This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance.

    Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
