- Prepares financial analyses, including trending, productivity metrics, revenue cycle, and other ad hoc projects, as well as financial reports and graphic presentations.
- Reviews existing methods for extracting, analyzing, and presenting data through project completion.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of the companys financial information system, including the ability to write financial reports and make inquiries for data.
- Responds to financial surveys on a monthly, quarterly, annual, or ad hoc basis.
- Handles confidential material on a regular basis and is responsible for protecting the confidentiality of such information.
- Organizes individual work schedule and establishes priorities for the completion of projects within guidelines from management.
- Provides additional back up for payroll monthly reconciliations.
- Performs additional duties, as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related area required, Masters preferred.
- Three years of analytical experience with a masters degree or 8 years of analytical experience with a bachelors degree required.
- Three to five years healthcare experience preferred.
- Proficient PC skills, specifically in Excel and Access are required.
- Two years of experience with SQL and VBA programming preferred. C sharp experience is a plus.
- Must possess superior analytical abilities, including the ability to identify issues, problems, and solutions.
- Superior mathematical aptitude, including the ability to build formulas for performing analysis required.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work independently and under deadlines, demonstrating solid professional judgment.
- Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and systems preferred.
- Knowledge of office management practices and accounting procedures.
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access.
- Skill in verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in gathering and reporting information.
- Ability to work effectively and independently with staff, physicians and external customers.
- Communicate well with the public.
