We design, sell and distribute luxury home décor to interior designers as well as boutique/luxury retailers globally. The AHD family of wholesale brands includes Made Goods (flagship furniture made from unique materials); Pigeon & Poodle (home and bath accessories); Blue Pheasant (handcrafted tabletop products) and Thucassi (artisanal candles and fragrances).

    This Materials Handler role is responsible for providing product unpacking and re-packing support.

    Responsibilities may include a combination of the following, along with other duties as assigned:

    • Frequently reaches above shoulder level to lift or otherwise move objects that weigh between pounds (assisted) when unloading and sorting pallet products
    • Pushes and pulls frequently
    • Functions and operates comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment
    • Follows verbal and written instructions
    • Operates a forklift and/or pallet jack to pull product for production use
    • Removes product from cartons safely and efficiently, following all safety standards, procedures and processes
    • Regularly ensures that product reloading is properly handled to minimize damage to products
    • Submits paperwork correctly
    Requirements

    Required Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Previous Warehouse work experience helpful
    • Reach Truck, Cherry picker, Sit-down Forklift experience
    • Willingness to learn and apply new skills
    • Great attention to detail
    • Diligent and punctual
    Physical Requirements
    • Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed
    • Able to work in a typical warehouse environment with varying temperatures throughout the year
    Salary Description

    $18 - $19.50/hr.
