- Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near warehouse plant or worksite.
- Examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against bill of lading, invoices, and other records.
- Route incoming shipments/goods to respective departments.
- Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order.
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or fork lift
- Prepares products for shipment
- Prepares identifying information/ shipping instructions on containers
- Pulls stock orders
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior equipment/automotive parts experience a plus but not essential as training will be provided
- Proficient utilizing computers including Microsoft products
- Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish is a plus.
- Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check, including MVR, and pre-employment physical.
- This position requires sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, climbing, moving, and reaching/working overhead.
- Ability to safely lift 60 lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely.
- This position is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and moderate noise levels. Appropriate PPE gear must be worn as required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment WorkSTEPS physical.

Job purpose
This job requires strong computer and customer service skills in conjunction with a solid knowledge in construction equipment and aggregate parts. This position serves with both internal and external customers as must as have the ability to keep a calm during stressful high-call volume and other demanding situations.
