    Pool Maintenance/Janitorial Technician

    General Responsibilities:

    • Assist with preventative maintenance and repair which can include touch up; replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or miscellaneous repairs.
    • Perform duties requiring experience in using basic hand and power tools.
    • Use other equipment as instructed by your manager.
    • Debris removal from grounds.
    • Sweeping curbing, entrances, sidewalks.
    • Conduct testing, chemical application and cleaning as required for pools, spa and sauna.
    • Snow, ice removal from sidewalks, entrances.
    • Monitor pump and filter performance, perform preventative maintenance and replacement.
    • Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a high standard of excellence throughout the SFC.
    • Ensures that guests are greeted.
    • Maintains safety awareness throughout engineering and all departments.
    • Reports all potential safety hazards to a manager immediately.
    • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
    • Keep work area and office clean and organized
    • Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
    • Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the Running Y Properties Employee Handbook.
    • Assist with bike rentals/repairs between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of all public pool health department standards and operating procedures, maintenance trades, basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and painting preferred.
    • Working knowledge of pool/spa pumps equipment.
    • Ability to:
      • Work with minimal supervision.
      • Communicate effectively.
      • Work as part of a team.
      • Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions.
      • Work well under pressure.
      • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
