NUPosition SummaryLead, oversee and participate in the more complex and difficult work of staff responsible for performing a wide variety of professional engineering work in support of assigned Capital Improvement Projects and day-to-day operations of assigned facility; assume management responsibility for various engineering projects and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or a related field, plus six (6) years professional engineering experience to include four (4) years supervisory experience.

ORMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or a related field, plus four (4) years of professional engineering experience to include four (4) years supervisory experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires a valid New Mexico Driver's license and a City Operator's Permit (COP).Possession of a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.

If applicant has an out of state PE license, must obtain State of New Mexico license within six (6) months from date of hire.
