    Description
    This Pharmacy Leadership role will have oversight of both TriPoint Medical Center and Beachwood Medical Center.

    The Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for planning, monitoring, and directly supervising pharmacy personnel in the safe, effective, and cost-effective acquisition & use of medications.

    Directing pharmacy operations, strategies, policies & procedures, the budget process, project planning & implementation, human resource mgmt & committee representation.

    The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for insuring compliance with all regulatory standards, implementing & monitoring financial controls to insure effective utilization of resources through budgeting & analysis of management reports, development of staff & services, as well as organizational performance improvement, quality management, evidence based outcome & setting the communication tone, values & culture of the health system.

    Collaboration with clinical leadership to develop drug use initiatives & assure appropriate use of medications.

    The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for the execution & consistent implementation of drug use initiatives & Pharmacy care management initiatives.

    Collaboration with system stakeholders to develop quality initiatives, processes & tools.

    The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for the execution & consistent implementation of quality initiatives across all pharmacy practice settings.

    He or she will also be responsible for ensuring enforcement of all applicable policies, standards & regulations related to Medication Safety, Medication Mgmt and AR&L (Accreditation, Regulatory & Licensing).

    Collaboration with Pharmacy Informatics personnel to ensure successful implementation & maintenance of technology systems & to contribute to the development of technology innovation.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor Degree Requires minimum 5 years experience in the practice area w/ minimum 3 years leadership experience. Lean or Six-Sigma training/cert w/ demonstrated application of principles preferred.

    Completion of ASHP accredited Hospital Pharmacy Admin & Leadership (HSPAL) residency or grad degree (i.e., MS, MBA, MHA, MSHSPA) or prior supervisor experience preferred.

    Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy & licensed as a registered pharmacist in the State of Ohio (out of state license must meet State of Ohio licensing requirements).
