    Description
    Purchasing Assistant
    to generate and process stock purchase orders.

    Performs purchase activities for a list of specific vendors as follows:
    Prepares and submits stock purchase orders. Online entry of purchase orders on vendor's web portal
    Enters purchasing documents into the Document management system
    Contacts suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems
    Assists with physical inventory as needed
    Associate's degree in a related field a plus.

    • Minimum one year related experience and/or training; Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and the use of the Internet.
