    Our staffing agency represents a privately-held digital media company that has been operating profitably for 20 years and has been trusted by blue-chip brands such as Toyota, Home Depot, Apple, and Chipotle.

    This 50-employee firm, which has earned a 4.6 Glassdoor rating (100% Approve CEO), is seeking a Sales Leader (Director of VP level) to lead a team of 12 AEs (6 Advertising AEs and 6 Publisher AEs) nationwide. This is a work-from-home role and s to the President. This person should live in a metro area with a significant advertiser/publisher/agency presence.

    Role

    Leadership role, ing to the company President and working from your home office.

    Accelerators, bonuses, medical, dental, vision, 401(k); paid maternity and paternity.

    You will manage a team of 10 to 12 Account Executives and/or Sales Directors operating in a monthly cadence to close new business opportunities.

    You have 10+ years in sales, 5+ years as a sales leader, and at least 3 years of experience selling AdTech solutions to retailers, e-commerce firms, and other B2C companies (travel, financial services, insurance, etc).

    You have experience implementing a sales methodology such as The Challenger Sale combined with a highly consultative approach.

    You have sold to Performance Marketing leaders, Chief Digital Officers, Chief Marketing Officers, Heads of Advertising, and VPs of Ecommerce.

    Startup experience strongly preferred; we'll consider a mix of large and small firms.

    As a Sales Leader, you will be managing and developing a team of Account Executives. You will participate and lead in client and prospect meetings as well as work cross-functionally with stakeholders and company resources as required.

    You will be responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new team members on the sales process. You will coach your team to develop in their careers, and inspire your team to do the best work of their life. In this role you will on sales activity and forecast to senior leadership.

    We are looking for a proven sales leader with great energy, leadership, and initiative to drive team performance and sales for our commercial sales team. You will formulate and execute a strategy to maximize business growth. This role works in partnership with Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product; therefore, cross-company engagement and orchestration is essential.

    The candidate will be a high-impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results and first-class team member development. The Sales Leader is fully responsible for developing and managing the team to generate net-new deals and achieve individual and team quotas.

    You will:

    • Manage a team of 10 to 12 Account Executives and/or Sales Directors operating in a monthly cadence to close new business opportunities.
    • Provide support and guidance to direct s by participating and leading in customer and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required.
    • Develop a winning team, including recruiting, hiring and training.
    • Continuously mentor and coach your team; lead by example to enable them to become high performers and overachievers.
    • Attention to detail and data to ensure the operational excellence, forecasting and pipeline management of your team.
    • Actively lead and monitor pipeline generation and top-of-funnel activities.
    • Be involved in large opportunities or strategic brands; represent us at prospect meetings to further support your sales team when required; leveraging your peers to support opportunities when needed.
    • Engage at VP/C-level in prospect and customer organizations.
    • Represent us at key industry events, act as a brand ambassador, forge new relationships and communicate key learnings and marketplace trends back to team members.

    You have:

    • 10+ years of sales experience and 5+ years of sales leadership experience managing a team of seven or more quota carrying sales reps.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue and building high-performing sales teams with a consistent track record of achievement and overachievement of quota.
    • Experience selling digital advertising solutions to marketing/demand/digital decision makers.
    • Experience in social, search and/or programmatic advertising with a strong understanding of new media technologies a plus.
    • Experience introducing and successfully positioning new technologies, products, services and/or companies to a marketplace.
    • Attracted, hired, onboarded, retained, coached, and inspired top sales talent.
    • Operated in a high velocity, data and sales-process-driven environment.
    • Demonstrated effective communication, business acumen, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Robust ing and analytics skills using Salesforce CRM, Salesloft, Chorus, ZoomInfo, Clari, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Excel, Domo or equivalent tools.

    Other core competencies:

    • Strong digital media or traditional media new business development.
    • A disciplined methodology applied towards driving new business. Ideally, you will have experience selling with a methodology such as The Challenger Sale combined with a highly consultative approach.

    • Excellence in soft skills – reading non-verbal cues to deliver powerful prospecting calls, sales presentations, and persuasive pitch decks and driving the new relationship to a win-and-win scenario.
