DOT Compliance Specialist - Warren, United States - LIPARI FOODS OPERATING COMPANY, LLC

Lipari Foods is currently seeking an experienced DOT Compliance Specialist. This position will be responsible for monitoring and assisting in the enforcement of pre and post-hire DOT and FMCSA regulations through Tenstreet. The DOT Compliance Specialist must have a strong work ethic and high attention to detail in order to minimize risk to the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Process annual MVR checks
• Review and verify the accuracy and validity of all Medical Cards
• Manage post-accident drug and alcohol testing
• Support internal compliance reporting
• Build and maintain Driver Qualification files; Process and manage all driver accident claims; maintain maintenance records for DOT audits

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge of Tenstreet
• High School diploma; College Degree preferred
• 2+ years of DOT Compliance experience required
• Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA Employment Guidelines
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proven track record of high attention to detail
• Working knowledge of computers
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook etc.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills
• Must have the ability to learn/grow quickly
• Be able to complete tasks with minimal direction
• Great team attitude
