Bailiff- Justice

• Maintaining order and security in the courtroom, assisting judges in trial proceedings.
• Working with court personnel, government employees, lawyers.

Duties:

Trial/Courtroom Duties

1. Opening court, informing judge that it's ready.
2. Arranging courtroom for jury selection, taking charge of jurors,jurors finding seats, distributing packets upon service completion. < li > Ensuring potential witnesses are separated from jurors prior to & throughout trials , guarant eeing limited contact between juries & those outside < i > Coordinating security at Court locations; arranging extra screening and conducting protective sweeps daily. < Li > Calling witnesses to the courtroom , relaying messages from juries to court attorneys,& families .
