Isett provides a full range of engineering and consulting services including civil structural mechanical electrical plumbing environmental geotechnical and municipal engineering surveying landscape architecture code enforcement plan review construction management construction materials testing and grant writing services to clients throughout the Mid Atlantic region Our busy Structural Engineering department has an opportunity for a Staff Engineer/Designer in our Lehigh Valley Allentown PA or Greater Reading Wyomissing PA office As a Staff Engineer in the Structural department you will contribute primarily to our industrial projects with the opportunity to work on wide range of other exciting projects including public private schools commercial offices residential developments and institutional buildings You will be involved in projects start to finish allowing you to see your designs come to life You ll play a critical role in fostering long term relationships with our clients through providing top notch service We seek a candidate with some technical design experience proficient in utilizing structural design software or similar programs The ability to perform basic design and analysis tasks is essential Responsibilities Serve a supporting role in the Structural Engineering department with focus primarily on industrial facilities but may be involved in diverse project types including public and private educational facilities commercial office buildings and residential projects Complete the structural analysis and design of steel concrete masonry timber etc Assist in preparation of construction documents Attend client meetings with project engineer Interface with clients project managers set scope budget timeline as directed Establish maintain long term partnerships new existing clients as directed Career advancement continuing education opportunities Employee engagement events parties Work life balance flexible working schedules Paid vacation holiday sick time Employee Stock Ownership Plan ESOP Medical dental vision life disability insurances Discounted free Isett wear Parental leave 401k/Roth match And more benefits are available depending upon which region location any job opening we have at that moment Also if applying for this position it would also help that you live near either one of these locations so commuting times could stay down under an hour if possible Benefits include career opportunities growing professionally while working within Isetts company Beautifully designed homes professional settings great views amazing coworkers discounts on food drinks restaurants movies tickets grocery stores gas stations More benefits include paid holidays vacations medical dental insurance retirement plans health savings accounts In short there s nothing not good about being part of Barry Isett & Associates.
