    Pay Range: $25-$38 per hour. Time and a half for hours over 8 in a day

    Position Summary

    Primary focus is fabricating fixtures and tooling on 3 axis vertical CNC mills for use on 5 axis CNC mills. Applies inspection techniques to monitor the CNC process. Collaborates with colleagues to maximize productivity in the precision manufacturing of the highest quality valves actuators for aerospace and power generation customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Read and interpret complex blue prints, shop travelers, and operation sketches for machined and/or fabricated parts.
    • Inspect parts to specifications and document results.
    • Installing fixtures and setting work offsets.
    • Using an offline tool pre-setter, prepare and set tools needed for machining operations.
    • Accurately and efficiently diagnose deviations and trends; adjust offsets to maintain quality product based on the analysis.
    • Report machinery, tooling or quality issues to supervisor.
    • Run multiple machine centers as required.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.
    • Experience in set-up and operation of 3 axis vertical mills with extreme precision and tight tolerances.
    • Proficient use with Conversational CNC controls including machine programming and editing.
    • Ability to work from complex drawings containing GD T.
    • Ability to perform accurate manual inspections of parts produced.
    • High School Graduate or equivalent; technical certification or degree a plus.
