**Job Responsibilities :**
Provides housekeeping services in resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas and other areas as directed.
Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
Ensures that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. Discards infectious wastes into appropriate containers.
**Requirements:**
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
6 months of practical housekeeping/janitorial experience.
Ability to work safely with cleaning agents and perform required duties.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to follow oral and written instruction.
Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift objects repeatedly; must be able to lift 25lbs unassisted throughout the shift.
**Hours:**
7am to 3:30pm with every other weekend rotation
40 hours per week
