    The Opportunity

    Ulteig is excited to announce we are seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer who will engage with Ulteig's civil teams to provide innovative design solutions to facilitate the development, design, and construction of transportation projects. This position will involve a combination of design and construction fieldwork. We are looking for candidates eager to expand their knowledge base and grow their careers. Prospective candidates are expected to be committed to client satisfaction, and adhere strictly to client-driven standards, schedules, budgets, and are passionate about working with our clients and team Ulteig is a 100% employee-owned company with ESOP contribution for eligible employees after the first year of service.

    What You'll Do

    • Perform construction observation duties on assigned projects.
    • Maintain records, construction quantities, checklists, daily reports, and documentation for construction administration projects in accordance with municipality requirements.
    • Coordinate on-site materials testing.
    • Perform work within both office and field settings.
    • Design, develop, implement, and analyze engineering systems.
    • Under supervision, perform plan preparation that includes but is not limited to, typical sections, scope of work, details, grading plans, plan and profiles, erosion control plans, traffic control plans, and pavement marking.
    • Develop plans and specifications that comply with preexisting state and municipality requirements.
    • Demonstrate a wide degree of out-of-the-box thinking, creativity, and design ownership.

    What We Expect from You

    • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent is required.
    • EIT certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
    • Prior engineering internship experience preferred.
    • Experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
    • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

    Additional Opportunity Details:
    Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $73,500
    * The salary displayed represents the middle of a range. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
