- 2+ years' litigation and/or family law paralegal experience (preferred)
- Paralegal Technology or Business degree (preferred, experience may substitute)
- Strong work ethic, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent client communication and service
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, PDF, and online research
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate
- NC Notary Public commission (or ability to obtain one)
- Assist attorneys with family law matters
- Draft court documents (complaints, motions, etc.)
- Manage discovery and complex pleadings
- Communicate with parties involved
- Docket, schedule, maintain files, and monitor progress
- Ensure timely completion of tasks
