    Uniti is looking for someone in a Helpdesk role that is focused on providing onboarding and offboarding support for Uniti Group Inc. corporate and operating companies. The candidate shall be able to perform a multitude of functions such as configuring user accounts in multiple systems, preparing hardware, and other Helpdesk tasks as needed. They will serve as the company's first point of contact for all new employees, and as such a helpful and positive attitude is a must. In addition to these functions, Uniti is looking for someone willing to take ownership of processes and collaborate with the team on improvements.

    Essential Duties & Responisibliies:

    • Demonstrates technical knowledge of various user systems and the ability to set up accounts for accessing these systems.
    • First point of technical contact for all new employees. Expected to be a good ambassador between IT and new employees.
    • Deploys new computers and uses software management tools to deploy applications.
    • Tracks accounts and access in appropriate systems for meeting compliance requirements.
    • Installs local and network printers and other peripherals.
    • Uses extensive knowledge to develop and implement onboarding and offboarding solutions to enhance organizational success.
    • Maintains offboarded user data and email backups.
    • Manages the requirements of IT security and protects data from unauthorized access, alteration, destruction, or usage in a manner inconsistent with covered IT policies and standards.
    • Maintains efficient communication with hiring managers.
    • Performs other Information Technology duties as assigned.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Possesses skills in different types of computer hardware, software, and peripherals including Windows, Apple products (iPhone, iPads, Macbooks) and Android phones.
    • Preferred 2 years of experience related to setup, configuration, and deployment of PC hardware and software.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and administration.
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
    • Microsoft 365 certifications a plus.
    • Ability to lift/carry 35lbs required.

    Working Conditions:

    • Ability to work multiple tasks in a stressful environment while maintaining a positive and pleasant manner with others.
    • Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
    • Ability to travel up to 20%.
    • Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
