    Lab Technician

    W2 Contract

    Location: Salt Lake City, UT - Onsite Role

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Utilize attention to detail and sound judgment to ensure consistent operation of the platform. A well-organized lab is vital for efficient handling of cell production flasks.
    • Assist in sample organization, equipment cleaning, waste management, stocking, and general lab support to facilitate successful neural iPSC production lab activities. This role emphasizes organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Effectively manage multiple competing priorities and remain adaptable to sudden changes.
    • Provide direct support to a team responsible for producing a large volume of iPSC neural cells. Gain mentoring and training in various process aspects within a fast-paced TechBio setting alongside diverse teams and advanced lab equipment.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a Biologic discipline) or in progress towards a Bachelor's degree
    • Basic knowledge of biological terminology
    • Demonstrated strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle diverse tasks efficiently
    • Capability to lift objects weighing over 50 lbs

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    Experience as a Laboratory Technician, proficiency in organization, familiarity with iPSC neural cells
