GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Oncology Data Specialist works 100% remote.
They perform a variety of functions related to the collection, abstraction, and analysis of oncology data to develop and maintain a comprehensive cancer database in accordance with the New York State Cancer Registry, American College of Surgeons:
Commission on Cancer and Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital regulations.
Assists in other activities of the cancer program in order to maintain hospital accreditation by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
